The work in this Section describes the five levels of clean construction protocols. The sixth level is Tool Hook-up and/or operations and is listed under Tool Hook-up. The five levels listed here are for a guideline and do not necessarily need to be performed in the manner described below. The levels are listed here for informational purposes only, and do not describe the scope of work provided by Protoclean, Inc. The scope of work is outlined in this document outside of this section and the pricing page.

Level 1 Protocol

During Level 1 it is the building contractor’s responsibility to ensure that necessary protocol requirements are enforced until the transition time when the protocol company, PROTOCLEAN is mobilized and on site.

Level 2 Protocol

Level 3 Protocol

This stage begins with start-up and continuous operation of the Make-up Air Handler Units as required to provide positive pressure to all ambient areas.   The work performed is cleanroom interiors.

All tools being used in this area must be maintained and operated in a clean condition.

Level 5

Level 5 commences after the completion of the final clean and the beginning of the cleanroom complinace test procedures.  During Level 5, certification and testing is performed and the results are reported to ensure that the cleanroom meets As Built specifications as agreed upon by the customer and contractor.  Level 5 ends at the completion and acceptance of the testing.
