Desiccator Cabinets
Desiccator cabinets are designed to provide sealed compartments to contain parts in a dry or nitrogen storage environment. These desiccators give users a sealed storage area that can be purged, creating a controlled environment for long-term storage of parts or materials that would degrade if left in the ambient atmosphere.
Our desiccator storage cabinets are built with a heavy-gauge stainless steel outer shell, with stainless steel dividers between each compartment. The stainless steel shell is strong, durable, and won’t crack or break apart at the seams like acrylic cabinets often do. Stainless construction makes these desiccators suitable for heavy storage loads.
Compartments are individually sealed to form a pressurized storage space. Each compartment has a hinged, clear acrylic door with a heavy-duty stainless steel frame and a cam-action, over-center door latch. Doors feature continuous hinges and PVC closed-cell gaskets. Optional fixed or adjustable shelves can be installed in each sealed compartment.
The back panels on our desiccators are also stainless steel, and are spot welded and sealed to the back of the cabinet. Back panels can be modified to attach other equipment or replaced with a second set of doors, if desired. Optional clear acrylic back panels are also available.
We offer standard desiccators in a wide range of sizes and configurations, and with a variety of purge control options, making it easy to find the right model for your application. See individual product listings for additional information and specifications.
