Clean Room Design And Build Considerations

We are specially constructed, enclosed spaces designed to regulate airborne particles, temperature, humidity, air pressure and more. As a leader in designing and assembling ISO class-compliant cleanrooms, we  takes industry-regulated requirements into consideration when creating high-performing, aesthetically appealing cleanrooms. We design and manufacture Federal Standard 209E-compliant recirculating and non-recirculating modular hard wall and soft wall cleanrooms in a range of standard and custom sizes and configurations based on your specific industry requirements.

Clean Room Design offers several advantages when designing and assembling ISO-compliant clean room specifically based on your needs, including:

  • Portable, Modular Structures
  • Easy To Reconfigure Or Expand
  • Quick Turnaround
  • Cost-Effective Designs

Filter & Airflow Considerations

You can choose from two types of laminar flow hard clean rooms: recirculating and non-recirculating. Clean Air Products utilizes high-efficiency filters for increased particle removal in most cleanroom designs.

High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA)
A High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter meets specific regulations for the interception, impaction, and diffusion of airborne particulates. HEPA filters have a minimum particle collective efficiency of 99.97 to 99.997%.

Class 10 Ultra Low Penetration Air (ULPA)
ULPA filters are usually used to create class 10 (ISO 4) or class 1 (ISO 3) cleanrooms and have an efficiency rating of 99.9995 on 0.12-micron particles.

Clean Room Construction Considerations
Your product and process requirements will determine which type is best suited to your company’s needs. Clean Air Products offers cleanroom enclosures with standard ceiling heights of 8, 9 or 10 feet with various custom heights and sizes available. Soft wall cleanrooms are manufactured from clear, flame retardant, 40mil thick vinyl. Hard wall cleanrooms can be recirculating and non-recirculating and can be tailored to meet your specific application and performance requirements.

All Clean Air Product cleanrooms are designed to account for the following factors:

  • Temperature control
  • Humidity Control
  • Effective Filtration
  • Pressure
  • Electrical Distribution & More

Clean Room Power Requirements
All motors, HVAC and equipment designed to power the cleanroom are on isolated breakers. Clean Air Products’ powered HEPA filter units, lighting systems, and ceiling panels are sealed to the ceiling grid system with gasket material. Additional optional cleanroom electrical features include flow through lights, prefabricated wiring kits, customized electrical outputs and more.

Clean Room Certifications
At Clean Air Products, we can manufacture clean rooms that comply with various ISO classifications, fs209e and ISO cleanroom standards. Whether you are looking for a less strict class 7 or 8 clean room or require a class 4 that maintains the strictest cleaning standards, Clean Air Products manufactures clean rooms to your exact specifications. The numerous ISO classifications are specifically designed to regulate:

  • Temperature
  • Humidity
  • Airflow
  • Filtration
  • Pressure
