Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a thermoplastic resin produced by the polymerisation of vinyl chloride. It is the world’s third most widely produced synthetic plastic polymer. Polypropylene (PP), on the other hand, is a thermoplastic polymer which is produced via chain-growth polymerisation from the monomer propylene.
